Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Mitt forskningsintresse fokuserar på utveckling av situerat lärande i arbetslivet och i utbildningsinstitutionella sammanhang, lärprocesser och hur människor lär, kulturens påverkan på lärande och kunskapsutveckling, kommunikation mellan vårdpersonal och patienter och närstående. En grundläggande teoretisk utgångspunkt är att kommunikationen och de sociala och kulturella sammanhangen är viktiga för att interagera och möjliggöra lärandet som meningsskapande. Nuvarande och tidigare projekt har fokuserat på förståelse av sjukdom, vård och behandling utifrån patient och vårdpersonalens perspektiv, teoretiska studier om pedagogisk metodutveckling av studenters lärande (arbetsintegrerat lärande och praxis, arbetsintegrerat lärande och portfoliometod), nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors professionella utveckling.

Undervisning/handledning

Undervisar på specialistsjuksköterskeprogrammet, handleder och examinerar magisteruppsatser samt handleder en doktorand.
