Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Tomas Benos specialitet är hur värme transporteras och överförs i olika bearbetningsprocesser. Tomas leder en grupp som forskar inom skärande bearbetning på Produktionstekniskt Centrum vid Högskolan Väst. I verkstadsindustrin används skärande bearbetningsprocesser som fräsning och svarvning för att ta bort material från ett utgångsmaterial tills man når önskad form och ytstruktur.

Tomas Beno undervisar i automation och tillverkningsteknik på högskolans ingenjörsprogram.
