Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Ulrikas forskning handlar om informatik och arbetsintegrerat lärande med inriktning mot utveckling och användning av digitala system och tjänster. Med fokus på kompetens och lärandeprocesser engagerar sig Ulrika i olika typer av digitaliseringsprojekt med bäring mot socio-tekniska frågeställningar som överbryggar gränslandet mellan sociala praktiker och tekniska tillämpningar. De senaste åren har forskningen bedrivits i ett 20-tal externfinansierade forskningsprojekt i samarbete med flera olika partners i omgivande samhället (kommuner, landsting, privata företag, SME). Ulrika är ledare för kärnområdet ”Industriellt arbetsintegrerat lärande” (I-AIL) som ingår i Högskolans PRIMUS-miljö. Ulrika har publicerat drygt 100-talet vetenskapliga artiklar, samskrivit 4 böcker, arrangerat flera internationella konferenser,  handlett 10 doktorander till disputation samt huvudhandleder för närvarande 4 doktorander inom Informatik och Arbetsintegrerat lärande.

Undervisning/handledning

Ulrika undervisar främst på forskarutbildningen Informatik med inriktning mot arbetsintegrerat lärande samt ingår i ämnesrådet för Arbetsintegrerat lärande. Ulrika är även ledamot i institutionsnämnden vid Institutionen för Ekonomi och IT. I nuläget handleder hon 4 doktorander, varav 2 tredjepartsdoktorander.
