Are you familiar with welding techniques and eager to enhance your expertise in weld design and construction?

This course is designed for professionals with basic welding knowledge or experience who want to gain deeper insights into designing strong and efficient welded structures.

What you will learn: Fundamentals of strength of materials and static mechanics to build a solid foundation for structural design.

Welded joints and classifications. Welding symbols on drawings according to ISO 2553 standard. Weld design under static loading to master the principles of designing durable and reliable welded structures.

This course is delivered primarily online in a flexible, net-based format, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Engaging online lectures. Supervised sessions and reporting meetings via a web-based system. One in-person meeting for hands-on learning.

Industry and academy

This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.

We apply a validation of work experience, which means we can assess your competence based on both formal credentials and work experience. Even if you don't have formal qualifications, such as grades or diplomas, you may have the knowledge that meets the eligibility requirements for the course.

Industri och akademi

Denna kurs är framtagen i samverkan med industrin inom ramen för ett av våra utbildningsprojektet. Projektet syftar till att ge kurser på avancerad nivå till en mix av studenter och yrkesverksamma för att förstärka den svenska industrins konkurrenskraft.
