The course is an advanced course which takes a comprehensive approach of operations and supply chain management and its connections to other disciplines. The course focuses on describing operations and supply chain management through the lens of systems theory, which reflects a holistic perspective. Key concepts and theories within operations and supply chain management are covered. Specific topics within operations and supply chain management are introduced, covering issues such as different types of flows (physical, information and commercial flows,) supply chain strategies, and the importance of time in supply chains.

Bachelor of Science in business administration, informatics, system science, computer science, industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent. English equivalent to English course 6 in the Swedish upper secondary school.
