How to get to University West

University West is located in central Trollhättan, Sweden, with proximity to car parking, trains and buses. The university is located right in the center of town, next to Drottningtorget and opposite the municipal hall and a large water tower, which are helpful landmarks in Trollhättan. Our vistiting address is: Gustava Melins gata 2, 461 32 Trollhättan

Arriving by car

The university's parking is accessible from the town hall roundabout on the right into Gustava Melins gata.

On weekdays between 08:00 and 16:00, both payment and permission are required to park in the university's parking lot. The permit is digital and valid from 08:00 on the specified start date and entitles you to parking subject to availability. Payment via Easypark's app. More information can be found on signs in the car park. A parking permit can only be produced if you have filled in the necessary information when registering to the conference.

Our car park is very popular with students and staff, so we cannot guarantee that there will be space for you, even if you have a parking permit. Free parking spaces are available at the Ice Stadium/Ice Hall approximately 600 meters from the university. ATTENTION! This refers to the upper car park, drive past the car park that is closest to Gärdhemsvägen (Nils Ericsons gymnasiet) and turn up to the left. No special parking permit is required.

Arriving by train

If you arrive to Trollhättan by train, you can choose between taking a bus to Drottningtorget or walking directly to the university, which takes about 10 minutes. If you walk from the train station, you pass the bus terminals. Cross the road and follow Djupebäcksgatan (located to the left of the park) straight ahead and you will reach the college.

Finding the conference area

The conference will take place at campus in room F127, building F on ground floor. We suggest that you enter through the main entrance and there will be further signs to guide you to the right place. Find your way!

You can always get help at the Service Center to find your way around campus, and we will put up physical signs to hopefully help you on your way!

The evening event on January 10th , will be at Folkets Hus Kulturbaren, from 18.30–21.00. Address: Kungsgatan 25, 461 30 Trollhättan. 

We invite you to an intimate and fun networking dinner, where food and a few drinks are included for all registered conference delegates. To arrange with a sustainable conference, we kindly ask for you to give us a notice if you plan to attend via the registration form.
