TorTalk is a speech synthesis software that you can use to listen to all text on the screen. It works for all e-books, locked PDF files and text on scanned images.
If you have any kind of reading impairment, Swedish as a second language or just want to vary your study technique, you can use the TorTalk software to listen to all text on the screen.
All computers in the library have TorTalk installed.
The university's license for TorTalk also allows both employees and students to install TorTalk on private computers.
