Computer Aided Manufacturing, CAM, 3 hp
The CAM process concerns the steps nescessary to implement from a CAD model to a finished part from CNC machining center. These steps involve, CAD model creation, configuration of CAM software, toolpaths, programming, tool selection, Cutting data, postprocessing and simulation. After completion of the course, students gain knowledge and understanding within these areas.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production technology, or equivalent. In addition, at least 7.5 HE credits in materials science, at least 15 HE credits in mathematics, and English 6 or English level 2 or equivalent are required.
