In the event of fire alarm

Watch the film and take part of the information published further down on this webpage.

If the fire alarms go off, you must leave the building!

If you find that there is a fire

  • RESCUE anyone who is in immediate danger and evacuate the premises.
  • WARN anyone who is threatened or affected by the fire so that they too can get to safety.
  • ALERT the emergency services, ambulance and police via SOS on telephone 112.
  • ONLY turn off the fire if you believe you can handle it.
  • CLOSE the doors to reduce the spread of smoke and fire.
  • ESCAPE via the nearest emergency exit. If the room fills with smoke - crawl under the smoke, there is fresher air and better view.

Remember to always note the nearest emergency exit and pay attention to the evacuation plan.

Fire extinguishers in the university's premises

Extinguishing equipment is located at strategic locations and is specified in the evacuation plan both on campus and on PTC.
