The transition to an electric vehicle fleet means an increased demand for competence in the field of electrical engineering, where storage media such as batteries are an important piece of the puzzle. The course gives you a comprehensive understanding of different energy storage media and their impact on ethical and sustainability aspects of the battery chain. We will analyze advantages and disadvantages of different energy storage options and explore important considerations for calculations regarding dimensioning and energy density.
Industry and academy
This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness. We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the entry requirements for the course. Do not forget to attach a curriculum vitae if you are applying based on work experience.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Degree of Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent. Additionally, the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 3 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. English course 6 in the Swedish upper secondary school or equivalent.
