In this course you will study cultural phenomena and diversity from many parts of the English-speaking world. It focuses on the study of literature and other narrative forms, and offers a greater understanding of the cultural contexts in which English is used in the world today.
The course is given primarily online, with an asynchronous set-up without scheduled meetings, with the exception of one invigilated exam. It is possible to apply to take the exam at other university or learning centre. For more information on taking exams off campus, click here.
The course can be combined with other courses at the basic, intermediate and advanced level in English at University West, for a Bachelor's degree or as part of a teacher's qualification or similar.
