Global Political Economy, 7.5 hp
This course focuses on studying the interrelation of politics and economics in the context of global dynamics. Hence, the focal concern of this course is the integration of political and economic factors in our analysis of modern society. Global Political Economy is an interdisciplinary field and draws on several social science disciplines to explain and understand the forces that shape global developments. Students will explore the main theoretical assumptions, methodological approaches, and dynamics of the global political economy. Overall, the course provides an accessible introduction to understanding these processes from a comparative perspective.
