The course gives knowledge of the construction and function of modern automation systems including programmable logic control systems (PLC), industrial robots, communication buses, vision systems and HMI. The course also provides knowledge about safety in and around an industrial automation system. Practical laborations in the course are programming of industrial robots and PLC in an industrial automation system
