Safety When Working on and in Electric Vehicles, 2.5 credits
With an increasing demand for electric vehicles, the need also increases for qualified professionals who can work safely and efficiently with these advanced technologies. This course provides you with the necessary knowledge to perform risk assessments and create a risk-free environment around electric powertrains and energy storage systems.
A significant part of the course will focus on giving you an understanding of the hazards associated with working with or near hazardous voltage systems such as batteries and other components for electric vehicles. You will learn best practices for handling, maintenance and preventive safety measures to minimize potential risks.
Industry and academy
This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Degree of Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent. Additionally the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 3 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. In addition, verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English B/English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School or equivalent.
