Activities for international students
University West offers several activities and events for all students during the academic year. The events listed below are for international students only. They are the perfect opportunity to learn more about Sweden and to meet your fellow students from around the world. More events will be published throughout the year.
Liseberg amusement park (Cancelled for 2020/21)
A perfect afternoon to enjoy the amusement park in Gothenburg and connect with your new friends. The university will arrange the bus and the entrance tickets.

Language Cafe (currently digital)
A meeting place for people who want to exchange experiences and learn Swedish while enjoying a Swedish fika.

Shopping at IKEA (Cancelled for 2020/21)
After your arrival in Trollhättan, you might need to buy few things that you couldn’t pack in your luggage. This is why the Student Union plans an afternoon to accompany international students to IKEA.
