Autumn Arrival Day

Arriving at the airport or central station in Gothenburg

On Arrival Day international student representatives will welcome you at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport  and Gothenburg Central Station as well Trollhättan station and guide your further to Trollhättan and your accommodation. Student representatives will leave from Trollhättan Station at 20:00.

Arriving on your own

If you arrive in Trollhättan on your own on Arrival Day and have received accommodation through the university, you can pick up keys and contract for your student accommodation in Room I109 at University West between 08:00-20:00.

Arriving outside opening hours 

If you arrive in Trollhättan outside opening hours on Arrival Day, you have to arrange your own accommodation (hotel/hostel).

You can pick up keys and contract for your student accommodation the next day at our accomodation booth in the university.

If you arrive in Trollhättan before Arrival Day you have to arrange your own accommodation (hotel/hostel).

On Arrival Day you can pick up keys and contract for your student accommodation in I109 at University West between 8:00-20:00.

If you arrive after Arrival Day you can pick up keys and contract for your student accommodation in the Servicecenter at University West during opening hours.

If you arrive in Trollhättan between the times 16:30-20:00 or on the weekends, and have received accommodation from the university, we will pair you with a student representative for key handover. Please email us at international@hv.se in advance if this is the case.

Bus connections from Servicecenter to student accommodation

Tickets for the buses can be paid by card directly on the bus (no cash accepted), but you can also buy a bus card which you can charge with cash (to make the journeys a bit cheaper) or get to cover a certain period or area at a fixed cost. You buy these at any shop with the Västtrafik logo, but most common ones are "Hemmakväll" at the main town square in Trollhättan, or at the train station, "Tidpunkten".
