Hidden grading becomes the default

One of the updates for the autumn Canvas courses is that hidden grading will become the default for assignment submissions. Teaching staff have long desired for the grading of assignment submissions to be automatically hidden, and now the change is here!
In the autumn courses, there will no longer be a need to manually change from automatically grade posting policy to manually grade posting policy for each individual assignment. Manually grade posting policy will be enabled from the beginning.
However, we must raise a small cautionary note regarding this feature and quizzes! This will affect self-grading quizzes, and students will not be able to see their results with manually grade posting policy. If the results need to be released immediately, the quiz must first be changed to automatically grade posting policy.
