University West is admitting 932 new international students for autumn 2023. This is a record increase of over 50 percent compared to last year and is the second largest increase in Sweden.
The admission for University West's international master's program has now been published and the first students have received their acceptance notices.
932 new master's students, from all over the world, have been admitted to programmes at University West for autumn 2023. Last year, the number of admitted students was 615, which means an increase of 51.5 percent this year. With that increase, University West ranks second on the list of the largest increase in the country.
Nationally, the number of admissions has increased by 6.7 percent, writes the Swedish Council for Higher Education.

“Now we work on getting the students well prepared for their arrival in August and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they won't have as big a problem with getting a residence permit as was the case in 2022”, concludes Tomas Bengtsson.
