When it comes to research on learning, the focus is on the development of student, vocational and patient learning. How practical and theoretical knowledge can be combined into a composite competence is studied within the framework of various careers professionals' education.
The research has a strong connection to the surrounding society and reflects the University West's profile Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). The critical perspective is emphasized in order to be able to promote a health-promoting, equal and sustainable care. The healthcare research environment collects research on health and social care, both in institutional settings and in the home.
