Automation Lab

The main components of this lab are two CNC machines, four robots and several PLC systems.

There are also safety PLC systems, lean production systems and camera-based monitoring systems. The equipment forms three cells with a portal robot going between them. The cells can be run one by one or programmed to work together as an automated production line.
The lab is used both for education and research. For research purposes various production process measurements can be made.
