Advanced Welding Processes, 4 credits
The course will introduce knowledge regarding different conventional welding processes and related topics such as:
- Laser welding,
- Electron beam welding,
- Plasma welding
- Cutting, drilling and other edge preparation techniques
- Surfacing and spraying
- Mechanized processes and robotic welding
- Joining processes for plastics
- Joining processes for ceramics and composites
