Entrepreneurial Finance, 7.5 credits
Entrepreneurial finance is the provision of funding to young (start-ups), innovative, growth-oriented companies. This course provides a deep understanding of the whole fundraising cycle, from the moment the entrepreneur conceived his idea to the moment investors exit the company. Some important issues are examined in this course such as the entrepreneur's signaling to investors, the various dimensions of contracting (including valuation) and the negotiation of a deal and the provision of corporate governance.
