Industrial Automation, 3.5 hp
The course aims to provide insight into industrial automated manufacturing and with which basic building blocks an automation system is built and structured around. In the course you will also learn how different industrial control systems are used and for which applications they are suitable. A laboratory work is carried out around a system for discrete logic event control in real time (PLC), which is a common control system for industrial automation.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Degree of Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and management. Additionally, the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. Verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School (high school) or equivalent.
