Manufacturing I, 2.5 credits
The course TVB100 in manufacturing technology aims to give the student an insight into the following manufacturing methods:
- Casting such as sand casting, precision casting, and die casting.
- Metal forming methods such as bending, deep drawing, hydroforming, and forging.
- Machining processes such as drilling, milling, and turning.
- Nontraditional methods such as laser and water jet cutting.
- Additive manufacturing methods.
- Welding methods.
