Mechatronics for Automation, 3.5 credits
The course deals with the basic building blocks of a mechatronics system which includes, fundamentals of sensors, transducers, control units, and actuators. The actuation mechanism is focused on electro-mechanical actuators. Furthermore, the course deals with input and output modules in the mechatronic system and system dynamics. The performance of the modeled physical system is analyzed with open and closed-loop control system.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Degree of Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and management. Additionally, the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. Verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School (high school) or equivalent.
