Power Electronics, 5 hp
The course covers the basic principles for power electronics used in electric vehicles. An understanding is created for design and operation of the most common converters; self-commutated converters, direct current converters as well as one-phase and three-phase voltage source converters. Also control and calculation of losses are covered in the course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Degree of Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering or equivalent. Additionally the Bachelor of Science degree must be comprised of a minimum of 5 HE credits in programming and 15 HE credits in mathematics. In addition, verified knowledge of English corresponding to the course English B/English 6 in the Swedish Upper Secondary School or equivalent.
