Work-integrated learning (WIL) as research subject - WIL in Context, 5 hp
Within the course Work Integrated Learning as a field of research, the ambition is to present and discuss perspectives on phenomena and theories at workplace related to knowledge, learning and education. We address important paradigms and concepts that provide content to our research field of WIL, which is strongly driven by the phenomena that arise in society around the transformation of competence, lifelong learning and changes linked to, among other, technology development and sustainability. Topics that are addressed are, for example, what happens to the conditions for learning when organizations, professions and professional roles change. The course is also in its designed form work-integrated, ie the doctoral students are given great opportunities to integrate their own dissertation project in terms of relating to the subjected organization and the social impacts that are meant by the research.
