Due to the security situation in Sweden
Sweden has raised the terror threat level from level 3 to level 4. University West follows and refers to the recommendations found on the MSB and the Swedish Security Service websites.
The Swedish universities also have a continuous dialogue regarding security work and possible measures. University West has also dialogue with the City of Trollhättan, the Police and the County Administrative Board.
At University West, continuous work is underway to ensure an accessible and safe campus where several measures are implemented based on both the local and national security situation, among other things security guard presence has been made permanent on weekday evenings, between 4:30 - 11:00 p.m.
The university has recently decided on a new expanded and updated security and crisis preparedness organization which is now under construction.
The Swedish Security Service urges individual citizens to live as usual but to be alert and to follow the information from the authorities. As far as the university is concerned, ordinary security procedures apply.
