E-Drive Part 2
The project is a continuation of the ongoing E-Drive project, which focuses on building a full-scale electric powertrain with world-leading research focused on electric motors with alternative magnetization including control systems.
Through the continued work, the project gets a greater focus on full-scale dynamic verified experiments of the new solutions within the electric powertrain. This proposed continuation of E-Drive means a long-term investment by University West to support regional industry within the focus area. The aim is to build competence at University West and a long-term and sustainable collaboration between the academy and the automotive industry (large companies and SMEs) which results in a strengthened competitiveness and competence supply, with the base in Trollhättan.
