Research school in collaboration for close care
Swedish health care is facing several challenges and increase in healthcare costs combined with limited resources. We need a transformation to sustainable healthcare that is closer to the citizens: comprehensive care.
Currently, the higher education for health care professionals (HCPs) are not tailored to support the transformation to Nära vård. Hence, to support this transformation we will train PhD students in the research school of integrated care for teachers (SHIFTCare) to perform cutting edge research and support them in their development to become excellent teachers. The core of the research, beyond high scientific standard and relevance for clinical practice, is to ensure that the transformations benefit foremost the patients, but also the health care personal.
