Forskar inom området samhällsvetenskap, utbildningsvetenskap, pedagogik, vård och hälsovetenskap, vårdvetenskap.


Forskningsområde/forskningsintresse

Övergripande har min forskning fokuserat på yrkeskunnande, dess innehåll och hur det lärs och utvecklas i en akademisk högskoleutbildning och i yrkeslivet. Några exempel på begrepp jag använt i min forskning är: erfarenhetsbaserad kunskap, praxis, socialisation, kultur och arbetsintegrerat lärande (AIL). Områden jag studerat är: handledning i VFU (läkarutbildning), övergång från sjuksköterskeutbildning till yrkesliv, verksamhetsutveckling (kommunal vård/länssjukvård) och informationssäkerhetskultur i vården. I min forskning har jag i huvudsak använt mig av kvalitativa metoder, som exempelvis etnografi, innehållsanalys och grundad teori.

Undervisning/handledning

Jag undervisar framförallt i vårdutbildningar på grund och avancerad nivå. Jag är också inriktningsansvarig vid magisterprogrammet Vårdvetenskap med inriktning mot arbetsintegrerat lärande (AIL)
